Need secluded mountain home on 40+ac in CO,MO or KY w/ mountain views. Know of an area to fit, not too pricy?

We can’t handle the heat in Texas anymore and are looking for an area in CO, MO or KY to retire. Everything in CO we found cost an arm & leg with little property. Most searches require that you know the city, state. Anyone know of a remote area where we might find our dream home? Secluded, very private, mountain views, creeks and streams, lots of wildlife. Peaceful and quiet. Anyone know an area to search?

      You lost when you said not to pricey. Anything worth while is gonna cost you in thehigh 6 fiqure range for all those places.

      The first time and the areas just east of gunnison doyleville pitkin whitepine visited there this summer for the first time and the area looks reasonable.
