Can anyone give me the history of the coal mine subsidence leading to the collapse of the mountain at Blaina?

Between 1974 and 1989 the mountain at Bournville, Blaina, Abertillery, Gwent collapsed inward due to subsidence of old mine workings causing a landslide, with everyone being evacuated from their homes. Subsequently, the school and several houses were pulled down, with the council buying the remaining houses and the inhabitants given alternative accomodation. This was a little later rectified by the mountain being stabalised, which cost millions, with people returning back to Bournville, although several properties had been demolished. That is all I know! I should like a fuller explanation of events, dates, etc., if someone out there can let me know. I now live at Bournville and would like to satisfy my own curiosity.
